I can't believe you are almost 3 months old.  You are such an easy, happy baby.  The kids all still obsess over you.  Macy loves to get you out of bed in the morning.  On the days that she is home from school she will sneak in my room once you are awake and get you while I sleep.  Its so nice!  You are sleeping 5-6 hour chunks at night.  I usually put you to bed between 9:30-10:30 and you wake around 2:00 or 3:00 to eat and then you sleep until about 6:30 or 7:30.  The first few weeks of you being home you woke every 2 hours to eat.  It was killing me!  I was so tired!  Id come out on the couch to feed you and fall asleep.  A few times I even just fed you while lying in bed so I wouldn't have to get up.

9/24/2015

You were born on a gorgeous fall day at 1:14 in the afternoon.  I tested positive for group B strep so the doctor induced me 6 days early.  I went into the hospital at 7:15 in the morning and got started on all the paperwork and antibiotics.  Because Im a wimp I got my epidural right away and just hung out all morning while we waited for your arrival.  It was an easy morning.  Everything went smoothly and quickly.  The nurse came in at 12:00, gave me my final dose of antibiotic and checked me.  I was at a 9 so she said she'd call Dr. Farley and see what he wanted to do.  Next thing I know he's in the room getting his scrubs on.  I said to him "Oh! We're doing this now?  Like right now?!" and he said to me "You want to have a baby don't you?"  I looked at your daddy and laughed and he just laughed right back.  I pushed through probably 7 contractions, but pushed the hardest I've ever pushed.  Your shoulders were stuck and I remember thinking my head was going to explode from pushing so hard! Once you were born the Dr. held you upside down and started suctioning out your mouth and handed you right off to the nursery staff.  You weighed in at 8 lbs 14 oz and 21 inches long.  My biggest baby! No wonder I had to push so hard to get you here.  You cried a little and immediately started sticking your tongue out like you were tasting the air.  All the nurses giggled and oohed and ahhed over you.  Once they had you all measured, checked out, and bundled up I finally got to hold you.  I was in love with you immediately.  Your poor little face was swollen and bruised but I knew you were mine and I'd love you forever.  We called Beep Beep to have her bring the kids up and all three of them obsessed over you.  Everyone fought over whose turn it was to hold you.  Miller immediately kissed you and said "Hi Nowah, Im your big brudder." When it was time for everyone to go home with Daddy no one wanted to leave.  They all threw massive fits in the parking lot so Daddy brought them back up into the room and we all hung out as a family until bed time.
I loved the alone time I got with you in the hospital.  Both nights I was there I had to call the nursery staff to bring you in at night and feed you.  It was so great!  You did so well and hardly ever cried.  Although I was exhausted and needed sleep, I hated seeing them wheel you out of the room when I was done nursing you and I got so excited to see you when they brought you back in.
